SEMAX 5mg (Research Grade)
Semax is a synthetic peptide analogue derived from the ACTH(4-10) fragment and has been studied in the literature for effects on neurochemical signalling, cognition-related pathways, and neuroprotective mechanisms. Published research has explored Semax in areas such as attention, memory, brain activity, and hypoxia-related neuronal responses, but the evidence base remains limited and does not support broad consumer health claims.
Research context:
Public interest in Semax often frames it as a nootropic or neuro-support compound, but most of the accessible literature is experimental, regional, or small-scale rather than large mainstream clinical evidence. In the US regulatory context, FDA is actively reviewing Semax-related bulk drug substances in a compounding context, with a July 24, 2026 advisory committee agenda listing proposed uses including cerebral ischemia, migraine, and trigeminal neuralgia.
Important notice:
For laboratory research use only. Not for human consumption, injection, therapeutic, diagnostic, or veterinary use. Any references to mechanism or biological activity are provided for scientific context only and do not imply safety, efficacy, or approved medical benefit. FDA warning-letter materials have also stated that compounded drug products using Semax were not eligible for certain 503A exemptions because Semax was not the subject of an applicable USP/NF monograph, was not a component of an FDA-approved human drug, and did not appear on the 503A bulks list in that context.
