PT-141 10mg (Research Grade)
PT-141, also known as bremelanotide, is a synthetic peptide analogue of α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone and acts as a melanocortin receptor agonist. Published research has examined its activity in sexual-function related pathways and receptor-mediated signalling, and FDA materials describe bremelanotide as the active ingredient in an approved prescription injection product.
Research context:
PT-141 is not just a generic experimental peptide name. Bremelanotide is the active drug in Vyleesi, an FDA-approved prescription medicine with a specific, narrow indication: treatment of acquired, generalized hypoactive sexual desire disorder in certain premenopausal women. That does not make a “PT-141 10mg” research vial an approved consumer product, and it does not support broad claims around libido, sexual performance, or wellness use.
Important notice:
For laboratory research use only. Not for human consumption, injection, therapeutic, diagnostic, or veterinary use. Any references to mechanism or biological activity are provided for scientific context only and do not imply safety, efficacy, or approved medical benefit. FDA prescribing information for bremelanotide also includes clinically relevant safety considerations, including transient blood pressure increases and common adverse effects such as nausea.
